Elawan to Supply Renewable Energy to Amazon under the Corporate PPA for 160 Megawatts of Capacity from Wind and Solar Power Plants in Spain

Elawan Energy S.L. (“Elawan”) will supply renewable energy to Amazon under the corporate PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) .

Elawan will start providing Amazon with around 160 megawatts of power generated by two wind power generation facilities and four solar power plants currently under development in Spain, along with environmental attributes, starting in 2024 and 2025. Elawan and Amazon have previously signed a corporate PPA for five solar power generation plants that began operating in 2023 for a cumulative total of around 180 megawatts.

Elawan develops and operates wind and solar power plants in 15 countries worldwide, focusing on Europe and North and South America. It currently has 1.8 gigawatts of projects in operation and around 8 gigawatts of projects under development.
